Already established in the Underground Society of Kugane, we have successfully found ourselves in a position of being involved in the open politics of Bakufu by way of getting several politicians under our thumb.With our roots firmly in Kugane, our influence has spread to Doma after having taken advantage of their reconstruction efforts. We now seek to spread those roots even further.Our current focus is to get a foot hold within the city-state of Ul'dah in Eorzea before expanding our operations even further across the land.
Our operations include both illicit and legal means of business. In Kugane, we've established legal businesses of tobacco, textiles, and precious metals. Dealings with Daitenya have led to talks of trade with the East Aldernad Company but are still currently in progress.Meanwhile current operations in Ul’dah are almost exclusively illegal. Including, but not limited to, dealings in drugs, gambling, loans, brothels, and other contraband.

It is tattooed onto the body when they join in a place that can be easily hidden but shown when needed.

Used primarily in documents of official legal business.
While there's a number of stamps made, only Kakei currently uses it. Anyone else will likely face severe repercussions by either law enforcement for forgery, or Kakei himself. It's simply a matter of who gets to them first.

How We Work
Huxian Syndicate has various jobs that an individual can pick up. In our rumors you can see what low tier jobs are available. As you climb in rep, you will get access to higher tier jobs that are not available to everyone.Depending on the job tier, you go to a specific staff member in the tavern called “The Fox’s Den”, which serves as the ‘front’. Once you have a job, you’ll be given further information on it. To turn in a job, you will speak to our ‘Fence’.How you do these jobs are up to you! Consider them as little blurbs to help further your character’s story with a real establishment and characters able to back them up. You may DM them yourself among your friends, write a story with your character doing it themselves, or simply show up and say you did it.You will be given one (1) month to complete the job, so at the next opening we request you be there to turn in the completion. IF you are unable to attend the next opening of the Syndicate/Fox Den, please DM or ping one of the Mods on the Discord and let us know an extension is being requested. If no extension is requested and you're not there to turn in, the job will be considered a failure and placed back on the job selection.
Rewards
Rewards are entirely IC. Among those, you’ll get Reputation with the Huxian Syndicate. We will track each person’s reputation in a document that’s available for everyone to see to ensure their points are calculated correctly. Reputation allows you to take on higher tiered jobs; in addition to a wider selection of jobs. Our bartenders offer various goods and weapons. The higher the reputation, the more items become available. These are also entirely IC. You may use them for your job or however you wish.
Tier System
Tier 1 is where you start.We do ask that those wishing to pick up jobs join our Discord so that we can track your Rep! If you choose not to, we will be unable to track it properly, but you may still pick up jobs.To get to Tier 2, you need 40 points and have completed a Tier 1 job.
To get to Tier 3, you need 130 points and have completed a Tier 2 job.

This venue is themed for criminally aligned characters. While we love and adore good aligned characters, this is not the place for them. The Fox's Den has top notch protections in place to avoid interference from characters who would take the place down. As such anyone who approaches the Den with the goal in mind of disrupting the venues RP will be asked to leave and the RP ignored.

「1.」 All members of the Huxian Syndicate Discord and The Fox Den should be 18+ years of age. This includes characters. Both the Discord and Free Company are subject to dark themes (including drugs, murder and other criminal activities). Minors should not be subjected or party to these.「1a.」Any Members found to be lying about their age or characters' age will be banned.Additionally Members found to have had knowledge of minor/s being present and not coming forward will be banned.--
「2.」 No fighting, you have a disagreement, take it to DMs. If an officer tells you to discontinue your conversation, do so. If any other problems can't be resolved, reach out to an officer so that a solution can be made.「2a.」Fighting in the Discord or Free Company will result in a warning from an officer. Ignoring the warning will result in a mute/silence of the offending party.「2b.」Continuing to engage in conversation after the mute/silence is lifted will result in a ban without further warning.--
**「3.」This is an all inclusive FC. That means LGBTQIA+. **Don't use slurs, derogatory terms, hate speech, or bigoted rhetoric. Bigotry of any sort will not be tolerated whether by race, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability.「3a.」Use of slurs, derogatory terms, hate speech, or bigoted rhetoric will result in a warning. Continued use will result in a ban.「3b.」We will not tolerate the use of fetish buzzwords and harmful epithets for trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming players and characters. This includes, but is not limited to shemale, futa, trap, dickgirl, cuntboy, herm. Use of them will result in a warning. Continued use will result in a ban.「3c.」We ask that players refrain from using food-like words, or anything considerably offensive to describe skin tone/culture. While we respect that some PoC do not mind it, in order to make sure our members’ are comfortable, we will not allow it.--
**「4.」Respect other’s RP boundaries. ** We don't want to regulate rp too much, but if you're seen as godmodding and/or metagaming and players are having issues you may be asked to leave. If your character has certain 'powers' or otherwise that could infringe on another character, make sure you ask. If it's not wanted, respect the player's wishes. If you -think- someone is godmodding and/or metagaming but it hasn't infringed on you personally, avoid rping with said person. We will not be banning or talking with people because you -think- it's lore breaking, god modding, or metagaming. We will also not be taking any action if you come to us on behalf of someone. The person offended will need to come forward as communication can break down otherwise.「4a.」 If someone comes forward with an issue under this matter, it will be attempted to see if it can be resolved amicably.「4b.」If the offending party is found to be unreasonable, it may be determined to ban the player from future events and the Discord.「4c.」Lorebreaking is not wholly an offense. Because of how vague the lore of FFXIV can be, we will not be taking it necessarily as rules to be followed. If you have an issue with someone’s character because it is lorebreaking, do not rp with that character. Any complaints of this will be dismissed unless it also falls under godmodding/metagaming.--
「5.」Keep Out of Character (OOC) and In Character (IC) separate. If you cannot keep the boundary of OOC and IC separate, this is not the place for you. We don’t care if it’s a “self-insert” or not. Just because a character doesn’t like yours, doesn’t mean the player doesn’t. Similarly just because a character is flirty or makes advances or likes your character, does not mean the player feels that way.「5a.」 If problems arise because the line of IC and OOC has been infringed, the offending parties will be warned. If they cannot resolve the issue, and continue to blur the line of IC and OOC they will be banned.--
「6.」Keep drama out of the Discord and Free Company. Do not air your dirty laundry in Huxian Syndicate’s Discord, or HS-RP. Be adults and try to handle your own grievances. Block a person if they are causing you problems. If you cannot and the problem seems to be affecting the atmosphere of Huxian Syndicate, action may be taken.「6a.」If the parties cannot resolve the issue, officers may determine who to ban. This may be all or just one.「6b.」For cases that involve harassment, sexual misconduct, abuse, stalking, etc. Please have evidence. I.E. screenshots of dms, ingame logs, etc.

IC and OOC bans**「1.」All bans are considered, in the least, IC bans. **This does not mean that you are completely banned from The Fox's Den. If you are banned ICly only, staff will attempt to remove you ICly. If you wish to attempt to ICly be allowed in, please ask @Kakei and I will do my best to work something out with you!「1a.」OOC bans are not circumvented under any circumstances. Sorry, but we're all adults or should be. If you act poorly enough to become OOCly banned from both The Fox's Den and the discord server, you will not be allowed back. OOC bans are also considered IC. Your character will not be allowed to come into The Fox's Den ICly.Non-consensual play「3.」No non-consensual or dubious-consensual play.「3a.」Make sure everything you do has consent. Both IC and OOC. While we are a dark rp FC and establishment, we don't wish to expose anyone who is not mentally prepared to such RP.「3b.」 This includes drugs. No drugging ICly without consent. Characters will be promptly banned if they drug another character without IC consent.IC Business Inquiries「4.」All IC business Inquiries should be directed to a staff member. They'll then direct it to the appropriate person.「4a.」 Please be patient. Depending on how busy we are, it may take a bit to get to you. OOCly, we put a time and thought into these quests and don't want it going to waste.「5a.」You may ask us for an extension. We do understand people can't make it every single opening. Simply reach out to Kakei or any of our Leaders and we'll put it down. If you do not ask us for an extension or show up to turn in, the job will be put back on up after the opening it should've been turned in.
